Veggies on fire is absolutely amazing! I was here with my mom yesterday and everything was so good :) the staff was so friendly and warm, great tasty food and a cozy small restaurant! The only thing I want to mention is that the tostada (tortilla) was a little too salty, but that's maybe because we don't use a lot of salt at home so we are not used to it haha. Besides of that little thing, everything was excellent!! Would really recommend this place to anyone and especially to those that are not vegan! They would be surprised how delicious it can be ;)

Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream (pecan based) with orange sauce.
The name, while descriptive, does not begin to hint to you the sensual journey you are about to embark upon having ordered this delightful dessert from the summer 2016 menu. This dish is more akin to a song, or poem in food form. It is not just a collection of flavours and textures to be sensed by the tongue and palate. There is a temporal sequence involved which makes this a narrative really. A clearly defined beginning, middle, and end. It begins before the plate is even set on the table in front of you. Your nose is awakened to the scent of freshly squeezed oranges which compose the sauce in which the scoops of green heaven are bathing. You take a that first tentative spoonful of icecream and sauce into your mouth and the world outside falls away, and you are introduced to an exploding, evolving world of flavour within. It begins with the explosion of orange the sauce. The fresh citrus taste slightly tangy that then mellows off. Just in time to be replaced by the fresh taste of the mint icecream, which by now has melted just enough for the flavours to be expressed. Just as the freshness of the mint gives way to a slightly bitter taste, it is perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the orange sauce and agave. The crunch of the raw chocolate chips leave a final delicious note to this soul moving symphony of taste. While all the desserts prepared and Veggies on fire are wonderful, your life will be poorer for having passed up this particular dish.
