Superlekker plekje midje Amsterdam!

When you walk into Rum Baba, the interior looks a little familiar to the Coffee Brew. Instead of the yellow wodden floor there is a blue wodden floor. Inside the café there is a small bakery in the back, so the pastry is home made on the spot! That is a very cool thing. They serve coffees from different local roasters. As it was late in the afternoon, I decided to go for a fruity filter coffee from Burundi prepared in a beautiful Chemex. Although I personally prefer brewing with a V60 - it is to me more simple - the Chemex is the nicest looking brewing device. The coffee from Burundi, roasted by Headfirst Coffee Roasters, tasted amazing, a true East African delight. Nice, bright acidity, citrus notes, a little underdeveloped. Nice, well balanced body, crisp acidity and a creamy aftertaste. The atmosphere was very nice, I especially like the graphic element on the wall. Nice, calm and stylish. The barista recommended us to go and have dinner at a big Street Food Festival! A perfect idea! We went and had great fun!
