we have been visiting De Gouden Reael every time in town since 2005. there is not a better place to wander to and enjoy some fine food and drink. the Reael is a hidden gem and every person that works here is just amazing. our favorite place. a special place.
Incredible place in north Amsterdam!!. Delicious food, ambience and atended by 2 nice, kind and really well prepared waitresses!! Went there with my wife and baby son. 100% recomendable!!!.

Fantastic meal and great service. In fact we ordered two spit-roast lamb (each serves two). The waitress returned to our table to tell us that there was only one serving left but she could offer us the spit roast boef which we agreed. When we got the bill we were surprised to see the boef dish was an extra €13. When we raised this with the manager he very kindly credited the billand charged for 2xlamb ..I think that's very good service. .anyone can make a mistake but few will acknowledge it. Many thanks.
