Amazing food, we both had stampot, the endive with meatball was delicious as was the carrot with the tender beef. There was plenty of waiting staff and it was fairly busy. This is a traditional must visit place to eat in Amsterdam. I was happy to pay for tap water, it's the first place that had it on the menu, others we asked didn't supply it. We'll definitely eat here again, we'll done guys your hard work is paying off, you have a great little restaurant �
Friendly staff and local beers and food. We had the bitter balls to start and was very happy with the recommendation. Hot (temp) and tasty. My main of veal liver and bacon in shallot gravy was cooked to perfection and Rich’s steak was soft and medium rare. Tessa, the owner, was a pleasure to chat with when she wasn’t having to turn people away as the placed was packed.
A local restaurant in Prinsengracht with great Dutch food, super fresh and very generous servings. The staff were efficient and friendly and very reasonably priced. A must visit when in Amsterdam! ��
If you want to eat "typical dutch" - this is the address. Make your reservation in advance, otherwise it is nearly impossible to eat there. But it's worth it!
This restaurant was the most beautiful Dutch experience we had in Amsterdam! I ate the sauerkraut and bacon stampot and I've never tasted anything more delicious! My husband had the stampot with spinach and a giant meatball and equally loved his. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. I'm only sad that I can't find this meal again in Australia! Thank you for a wonderful experience De Blauwe Hollander we will be back again next time we're in Amsterdam! X

Went for dinner her last night. Absolutely loved it. Great traditional Dutch food, the service was excellent and very accommodative, my wife an I felt as though we were at home with home cooked meals. Highly recommend if you're in Amsterdam. Super reasonable prices also.
Weer ontzettend lekker gegeten gisteren. Kom hier graag, ook met gasten uit het buitenland. Zij kennen vaak geen hollandse stamppot. Personeel is gigantisch, zeer gastvrij!
Ik beveel het iedereen aan hier te gaan eten.

Very nice food, big portions. Lovely people working there. They will help and find solutions together if you have a diet. We will visit again in the future
